Summary: 

COR Refresher - 5 Days: This course provides the contracting officer's representative (COR) with an update and review of the acquisition process. This course also provides the experienced COR with Continuing Learning Points (CLP) required by Office of Federal Procurement Policy (OFPP) or the agency.

It is suitable for experienced personnel who have previously attended acquisition training, and meets agency recertification and continuing education requirements for COR's. This session examines changes in contract clauses, regulations and legal decisions affecting contract administration duties.

Course Objectives: Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be more proficient in the performance of COR duties; understand the implications of any regulatory, legislative, or policy changes affecting contract administration; and be prepared to conduct and evaluate marketing research, serve on a technical evaluation panel, and evaluate and manage projects from the proposal stage through inspection and monitoring, invoicing and payment, performance evaluation and contract closeout.
